AOR TREASURES - The Japan Bonus

The japanese market always has been lucky to get extra songs in local album editions.
An injustice to the rest of the planet, since many times these are really good bonus tracks, but we can't afford the expensive import prices.

I have compiled some of these pearls, some recent, some very hard to find, such as the MASTEDON song.
ERIC RUSSELL has released his 'Personal' album in Japan only, 1993.
The CD was reissued in Europe two years after, under his real name; OLIVIER CONSTANTIN, but this great song (he's best in my opinion) was replaced by other. That's why it's present here: Japan only.

Various bitrates, all above 192 Kbps, mostly @ 320.

AOR TREASURES - The Light Years 89 - 93

Now covering the 'Light Years' 89-93, those years were glorious, making the AOR / Melodic Hard Rock genre mainstream.

Easily I can do 10 best of only with the excellent albums publicated in 1989, but again, in this compilation, the chosen bands didn't make it, even in that brillant era. After '93 the dark ages arrived...

A few bands here were reissued, but mostly remain out of print.

Maybe you can say: 'hey, some tracks here are hard rock' or something like that, to me, all are keyboard and guitar driven AOR.

AOR TREASURES - The Golden Years 86 - 88

Here it is, guys and gals, the first blog best of.

Comprising great tracks, some well known, some not, from the AOR - rock golden era between 86 - 88.

I think all tunes are outstanding, representing these magic years with justice.

Of course I left-off the obvious megakings like Survivor, Strangeways, etc.

The focus here is pointed to exciting stuff ignored by major labels.

Some of 'em were reissued recently due to demand for GOOD music.

Hope all these albums see the light in CD format or other digital platform someday (some tracks here are vinyl-rips, no CD release at the moment).
